FOR OUR OFFICE IN VIENNA, WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A:

FPGA/FIRMWARE ENGINEER

Your responsibilities with us:

You design and develop embedded systems with FPGAs/CPLDs and real-time microcontroller systems in a safety-critical environment.
You develop, verify and maintain FPGA designs preferably in VHDL.
You develop close to the hardware – oscilloscope and soldering iron are not just distant theory for you.
You create and check estimates for development costs.
With your expertise you support project managers and our customers.
You create and maintain the architecture and firmware documentation.

Your skills and qualifications:

Completed higher technical education in computer engineering, embedded systems, mechatronics / robotics, telematics or equivalent professional experience.
Structured way of working from brainstorming to successful implementation.
Several years of experience in FPGA development with AMD (Xilinx), Intel (Altera) and/or Lattice Semiconductor.
Experience with common IDEs, simulation and synthesis tools such as ISE, Vivado, Diamond, ModelSim.
Know-how about IP cores in the audio, video and network environment desirable (e.g. PLLs, clock synchronization, high-speed serials, RGMII, PCIe, AXI).
Experience with C/C++ and/or Python would be an advantage.
Good knowledge of English or German.

The minimum salary under the collective agreement is € 48.370,-. An attractive overpayment may be offered depending on your qualifications and experience.
