EMBEDDED LINUX ENGINEER

Your responsibilities with us

You design and develop embedded Linux systems in safety-critical environments.
You select suitable architectures and solution components.
You develop and maintain Linux base services, board support packages, device drivers.
You work closely with the hardware – oscilloscope and soldering iron are not just distant theory for you.
You create and maintain architecture and software documentation.
You create and review estimates for development efforts.
With your expertise, you support project managers and our customers.

Your skills and qualifications

Completed higher technical education in technical computer science, embedded systems, mechatronics/robotics, telematics or comparable fields.
Structured approach from ideation to successful implementation.
Several years of experience as an embedded Linux and/or kernel developer.
Experience with ARM SoCs (like Jetson, i.MX, Sitara) and Yocto Linux.
Ideally, experience in process-compliant development for safety-critical applications.
Good knowledge of German and English.
