APPLICATION SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Your tasks

You conceptualize and develop software applications for embedded Linux systems in a safety-critical environment.
You select suitable architectures and solution modules.
You create and check estimates for development efforts.
You develop and maintain Linux basic services and board support packages.
You develop close to the embedded hardware.
With your expertise you support project managers and our customers.
You create and maintain the architecture and software documentation.

You should have the following

Several years of experience in modern C++ application development in a professional environment.
Completed higher technical education in computer engineering, embedded systems, mechatronics / robotics, telematics or comparable fields.
Good knowledge of German or English.
Structured way of working from brainstorming to successful implementation.
Ideally:
- Experience with continuous build and continuous integration
- Reading circuit diagrams, using oscilloscope and soldering iron
- Extensive Linux and Yocto know-how
- Experience with ARM architectures
- Experience in process-compliant development for safety-relevant applications
- Network technology
