To strengthen our software engineering team, we are looking for an experienced manager who can create a collegial and high-performance team environment through structured measures and open communication.

IMMEDIATELY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR OUR LOCATION IN VIENNA:

HEAD OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities with us

You will lead a team of software developers and foster a collaborative and productive working environment
You scrutinize tasks and prioritize their implementation in the context of cross-team software development
You focus on the active development of employees through regular feedback sessions, mentoring, and training
You are actively involved in company-wide engineering resource planning
You stay up to date by regularly seeking active exchange with the other development teams and promoting cross-team interactions
You support the collaboration of the different teams in the definition, design and delivery of new engineering features and enhancements
You are actively involved in the recruiting process
You monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery and compliance with quality standards

You should bring the following

Completed technical education (HTL/FH/University) in the field of computer science, electrical/computer engineering or comparable education
At least 5 years of experience in relevant software engineering disciplines, such as embedded Linux, AI computer vision, web + cloud
Experience with various software development processes
At least 3 years of experience in leading a group or team of software developers
Enjoy working with people
Analytical and solution-orientated mindset
Independent and autonomous way of working with a hands-on mentality
Very good knowledge of German and English (international colleagues, customers and partners)
